SUBJECT: March 18th Meeting
I would like to invite you to the sixth meeting of the Council's Conservation Resources Advisory Committee. The meeting will be held at the Council's Portland Office (address above) on March 18th from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. For those of you flying into Portland International Airport, you can now ride the MAX light rail trains from the airport to downtown. The Council's offices are one block south of the ?Pioneer Square? stop. The building we are in has two entrances. If you enter from Broadway, the address is 850 SW. If you enter from Sixth Avenue the address is 851 Sixth SW.
A meeting agenda and the notes from the January 21st meeting accompanies this e-mail. Other meeting materials will be posted on the Committee's web site (http://www.nwcouncil.org/energy/powerplan/CRAC/default.htm) later this week. For those of you attending via phone call the Council's 800 number (800-452-5161) and the operator will connect you.
We have two major items on our agenda. The first item will be a presentation and discussion of conservation potential in commercial sector lighting, small building HVAC and building commissioning. The second major item of the day will be a presentation of the Council's draft model conservation standards for new residential construction, heating and cooling equipment and appliances. In addition to these items we will be providing you with a update on the revised market price forecast for electricity that we will be using for the development of the draft Plan.
