Method: Engineering models calibrated with field monitoring. Field monitoring according to the International Measurement and Verification Protocols on all major inputs and outputs. Field measurements should be take for at least two weeks prior and two weeks post measure installation or whatever period is necessary to ensure that all of the key input variables (hours of operation, variations in load, etc.) for a typical operational cycle are measired. Savings calculated by removing efficiency measures from the post installation calibrated engineering model.
