Email to sponsors to update budgets
July 7, 2003
[If you are a project sponsor and didn't receive the email shown
below, we
either don't have your current email address, or your project isn't
recommended for FY 2004/2005 funding. Please contact Patty O'Toole
for assistance.]
To project sponsors:
You should have received an email last week to notify you of upcoming provincial meetings in July and August. The meetings are being held to discuss the status of projects and review and confirm or revise project budgets for 2004 and 2005. Per sponsor request, the date of the Middle and Upper Snake River province has been changed. See
schedule.
Prior to the provincial meetings, we would appreciate it if you would review your 2004 and 2005 recommended budget and confirm or revise them if necessary. We welcome comments as to why the number may have changed from the recommended amount.
Four steps to confirm your budget(s):
- Click this link (unique link sent to each sponsor) to update
your projects
- For any budgets that need adjusting, click "revise" for that project.
- Enter FY 2004 and 2005 figures, and any comment.
- Click Update to save your changes. These figures instantly update the spreadsheets that managers will take to the
budget meetings.
We would appreciate revised numbers to be submitted 48 hours in advance of your provincial meeting, if possible. If you cannot review and submit your revised budget in that timeframe, just bring the numbers with you to the provincial meeting.
For the Columbia Gorge and Intermountain provinces, project recommendations expired at the end of fiscal year 2003. We would appreciate receiving your anticipated budgets for your existing projects, while maintaining a similar scope of work as defined in the objectives and tasks as was previously approved.
We recognize that July and August is a very busy time for project sponsors. We will work to take up as little of your time as possible.
Again, details on this process are available
here. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you.
