The Council has completed its draft Fiscal Year 2006 annual report to Congress for public review and comment. The draft report describes the Council's efforts through August 2006 on regional fish, wildlife, and energy issues.

The Council developed the annual report pursuant to Section 4(h)(12)(A) of the Act, which requires the Council to report annually on its actions and to make the report available for comment for a period of 90 days before submitting it to Congress. The comment period ends at the close of business on Monday, December 18, 2006.
