THE TRANSITION BOARD
TRANSMISSION WORK GROUP

The Steering Committee of the 1996 Comprehensive Review of the Northwest Energy System recommended that Bonneville's transmission and generation assets be legally separated, and that the BPA transmission business be subject to FERC review equivalent to that applied to jurisdictional utilities. The Transition Board has formed a work group to explore the issues involved with such a separation. The work group is open to all parties who are prepared to commit the time required.
