2. Scheduling meeting dates, including workshop dates for 2006

• Proposed Schedule: Jan 4^th, February 8^th, March 8^th, April 5^th, May 3^rd, June 7^th, July 5^th, August 9^th, September 6^th, October 4^th, November 8^th, December 6^th.
• Workshop dates:  Topic and Dates TBD.
• Creating a 2006 Workshop Planning Group.

3. Bringing participants to the Table: Updates on out reach to potential NED participants (follow up tasks from last meeting)
4. Bruce Schmidt’s draft Comparison of Data/Monitoring Groups - Updated Table
5. NED Executive meeting (20k PDF) – December 7^th 2005. 9:30 through 12:30 at NPCC
6. Bringing resources to the Table.

• Developing a list of data management funding sources and related information. At our October meeting we agreed to review Joy’s information Funding Matrix 7-28-04 doc and offer any additions that we have.
• Status of Challenge Grant Application.

7. Workshop White Papers

• Review Comments received on White papers.
• Comparison (70k PDF) of Recommendations from the White papers and the SAIC report – fine tuning.
• Completing White Papers and Recommendations for presentation to Executive at December NED Executive meeting.

PNAMP DATA MANAGEMENT AGENDA ITEMS

1. PNAMP Data management Plan (270k PDF) for 2006. Update.
2. Update on progress on PNAMP SOW for PNAMP Inventory Task. Update.
3. PNAMP Data Management Coordination. Is NED willing to continue to sponsor the PNAMP data management meetings?  Jen Bayer has asked for confirmation.

AFTERNOON BREAK OUT WORKGROUPS: 1:30 through 4:30

1. Technology for Data Discovery and Sharing group WILL MEET at 1:30 to work on Pilot NED Portal “look and feel”, deployment, demonstration development and etc.
2. The Project Description and Performance and NED Temporal/Spatial Data Element Work Groups (Lead, Joy Paulus) will meet at 1:30. A revised draft (220k PDF), based on comments from the September 9^th meeting has been circulated.
