Council Releases Draft Sixth Power Plan for Public Comment

In a unanimous vote, the Council released its draft Sixth Power Plan for public comment. The plan is an energy blueprint to assure the region will have an adequate, efficient, economical, and reliable power supply.

The plan's recommendations include: energy efficiency, wind generation to meet state renewable portfolio standards, and natural gas-fired plants.
