Sharon Ossmann was named Director of Finance and Administration in April 2005. She is responsible for the Council's financial, administrative, human resource and information systems functions. She also oversees contracting, office operations and leases, budgeting and audit controls, and policy development/interpretation to ensure sound business practices. Sharon joined the Council in 1987 as Business Manager with duties in accounting, payroll and benefits.
Prior to joining the Council, Sharon was office manager for a local civil engineering firm. Before that, she was employed by an advertising agency as an accountant. She attended Washington State University and in 2006 earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification through the Human Resource Certification Institute.
