The following mapping tool provides information about the Council's Fish and Wildlife Program (Program) fish screens. Types of screens used in the Program include, but are not limited to, rotary drum, vertical fixed plate, vertical traveling, and pump screens. Although Program sponsors are typically responsible for routine and annual O&M, the daily care of many screens in the Program are performed by landowners and other entities.
The mapping tool has been developed concurrently with the fish screen inventory (Phase I) and assessment (Phase II) parts of the Council's O&M Strategic Plan. The inventory and assessment reviews focus on the infrastructure of the screens developed and improved through the Program. The inventories and assessments are serving as the foundations for evaluating future roles and responsibilities relative to the development of the O&M strategic plan for the Programs past investments and ensuring longevity and integrity of the Programs assets.
