Access versions of the Regional Portfolio Model (RPM) that can be run online.*
**The versions below are based on the FINAL 7th PLAN published in February 2016.
Updated May 26, 2016
This is intended to allow the public and outside groups to try the model and see how it processes different inputs under various conditions. It also allows users to click into different parts of the model and view background information such as a high level of the model’s stock/flow and feedback diagram.
Please contact Ben Kujala or John Ollis from the Council’s staff for questions related to using the online model, including inputs, scenarios, or results.
Currently each version of the online version of RPM below is tuned to a different scenario discussed in the final version of the Seventh Power Plan.
More background information on the model. RPM Documentation from the Seventh Plan (Appendix L)
Scenario Info: Seventh Plan - Final Version, Chapter 3 – Resource Strategy, or view scenario data in a spreadsheet.
RPM Online Model 1* – Existing Policy, No Carbon Risk
RPM Online Model 2* – RPS at 35%
RPM Online Model 3* – Social Cost of Carbon – Mid-Range

* The web versions of the model are limited in functionality and should not be considered a full version of RPM. This access is provided to help stakeholders explore and understand the methods and approach used in the model and how it operates. It is NOT the same as running the full version of the model as used by Council staff.
Any results shown should not be considered an official record or output of the Council's planning process.
