Integrating Climate Change Data in AURORA
The climate change input data used explicitly in AURORA was documented in more detail in the following documents:
Regional demand – hourly regional demand proportionally assigned to regional zones by climate change set and year and aligned with wind and hydro
Regional hydro – daily maximum and minimum generation and monthly energy by climate change set and year and aligned with wind and load
Regional wind – hourly capacity factors by climate change set and year and aligned with hydro and load
The data was sampled and aligned per the methodology described in March 2020 System Analysis Advisory Committee meeting.
