Pacific Northwest Demand Response Project
The Pacific Northwest Demand Response Project examines the role and potential of demand response — a voluntary and temporary change in consumer's electricity use when the power system is stressed — in managing the region’s power system. This cooperative effort, led by the Council and the Regulatory Assistance Project, started in 2005 and has been the primary forum for researchers, regulators, and utilities to discuss and share information about demand response in the Northwest.
