Northwest VC Investments Eye Sustainable Technologies

In a recent power committee meeting, Charlie Grist, senior analyst, shared news about a Northwest venture capital firm looking to invest in the "emerging sustainable economy." Pivotal Investments is the region's first venture capital firm to target opportunities in the renewable energy and energy-efficiency industries.
"We've always looked to collaborate with utilities to help meet the region's energy-efficiency goals," says Grist "But the private sector is another area to partner with, too."
Grist is in the process of arranging an informal meeting to hear more about their goals and interests, and for them to hear about what the Council does. We'll report back on what we find out.
