Ted Strong Remembrance

The Council joins in mourning the loss of Ted Strong, Yakama Nation elder, leader, and former executive director of the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission. During his tenure, Strong provided leadership in advocating for the tribes’ unique role in salmon recovery efforts in the basin.
