    In response to a request from the Independent Scientific Advisory Board’s (ISAB) Administrative Oversight Panel (April 2017 memorandum), the ISAB reviewed habitat assessment, research and monitoring, and prioritization and coordination of recovery actions for spring Chinook salmon in the Wenatchee, Entiat, and Methow basins of the Upper Columbia River.

    In response to the Council’s November 21, 2017 request, the ISRP reviewed the report Synthesis of Threats, Critical Uncertainties, and Limiting Factors in Relation to Past, Present and Future Priority Restoration Actions for Pacific Lamprey in the Columbia River Basin, November 15, 2017 prepared by the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, and Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Reservation.

    On October 4 and 5, 2017, the ISRP participated in a site visit with the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation’s (CTWSR) team, its partners, and staff of the Northwest Power and Conservation Council (NPCC) and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) to discuss the Tribes’ John Day Habitat Enhancement Implementation Strategy (Project #2007-397-00).
